Q&A with Eain Bain, Franklin Football Coach

What do you love most about your sport?

Competition. I love that every player is striving for the same thing. I am always working to be a better Coach, mentor and father than the day before.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment, yet, is being a faithful husband and father.

Best game performance?

Our best game performance was Thanksgiving 2021. We were down 0-14 with the Hock title on the line. We ended up winning 28-21.

Where was your fundraising profit spent?

Fundraising profits were spent on critical field equipment. We got sleds, chutes, and cameras for the guys and various other items we will use this season and season’s to come.

What was the biggest challenge you overcame this year with your team?

Learning how to prepare like a pro. Preparation for every warm-up, practice and tournament is crucial, it is the secret sauce to a successful season and coming out better than we started.

Who is your greatest inspiration and why?

My son inspires me everyday. He was born 1lb 1oz and spent four months in the NICU. That's about as tough as it gets.

Your favorite motivational quote:

“Row the Boat”

When the going gets tough, you have to keep rowing!
